Three Rivers Music Jam - June 20th

The 1^st annual Three Rivers Music Jam will debut June 20^th on the square in historic downtown Ellijay. This event is a culmination of a full day of events starting with the launching of the 5^th Annual Paddle Georgia event from River Park early that morning. Coosawattee River Resort (CCR) will host a lunch, for the Paddle Georgia participants, at Fish Trap Park in CCR around noon and the participants will then be shuttled back to their campsites on the campus of Gilmer County High School, then on to downtown Ellijay for the music.

The FREE Three Rivers Music Jam will begin at 4:00 p.m. and at 5:30 p.m. the Shades will entertain the crowd around the square. Country Music Star, Ty Herndon, will entertain at the Ellijay Elementary School at 9:30 p.m. Tickets, for that event, may be purchased at the Gilmer County Chamber of Commerce or on line at www.musicinthemountains.eventbrite.com . “Landlubbers” can participate in a day full events (starting at 10:00 a.m.) in downtown Ellijay with visits to local shops and the “Arts Around The Square” sponsored by the Dedicated Ellijay Merchants and Associates (D.E.M.A.).

The whole County is invited to come and participate in these events to show the 300+ Paddle Georgia participants, and their families, what a great place Gilmer County is to vacation.
